Raymond Conrad Nash

Mr. Raymond Conrad “Ray” Nash, 80, of Lambsburg, VA, passed away July 7, 2018, at the Salem VA Medical Center.  Mr. Nash was born January 23, 1938, in La Cygne, KS, to the late Orville and Sophia Elizabeth Kraft Nash.  He bravely served in the United States Navy and retired as an air traffic controller.  He is survived by his wife, Susan Wilson Nash; a daughter, Beth Nash; a stepson, Willie Ratanaphruks; a stepdaughter, Kristine Ratanaphruks; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, George and Debbie Nash and John Nash.  A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, August 24, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, VA, with full military honors.  There will not be a formal visitation prior to the service.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
