Rev. Dale Bailey

Rev. Dale Bailey, age 77 of Stuart, Virginia passed away at his home on Saturday, April 11, 2015. He was born in West Virginia on June 13, 1937 to the late Lawson Dean Bailey and Sally Massey Bailey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nikki Brown; three brothers, D. J. Bailey, Noel Bailey and Carl Bailey; and two sisters, Norma Lafferty and Cora Stewart. Dale had been a member for thirty seven years in the following churches; Elamsville Church of God of Prophecy (this was his last church, where he pastored), Moneta Church of God of Prophecy, Blacksburg Church of God of Prophecy, Patrick Springs Church of God of Prophecy, all located in Virginia and Raven Cliff Church of God of Prophecy located in West Virgina.
Rev. Bailey is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eunice Spence Bailey of the home, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tommy and Judy Bailey of Stuart, and Jerome Bailey of Stuart; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Cozart of Eden, North Carolina and Josie Deffenbaugh of Covington, Virginia; a brother, Billy Bailey of Fieldale, Virginia and a brother-in-law, Holt Cozort of West Virginia.

Funeral services for Rev. Bailey will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Pastor Greg Martin and Pastor Jeff Rhea officiating. Burial will follow in the Elamsville Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
