Rhonda Lee Law McCraw

Mrs. Rhonda Lee Law McCraw, 61, of 279 Dover Church Road, Mount Airy, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 15, 2013, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. McCraw was born October 2, 1951, in Alamance County, to Alma Corder Law and the late James F. Law. Rhonda was a CNA at Colonial Care and a member of Imogene Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Wayne McCraw of the home; a daughter, Brandi S. Lawson of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Bridgette Browder of Boonville; four stepchildren and their spouses, John and Lisa Kirk, Dennis and Karen McCraw, David McCraw, and Sheryl McCraw, all of Flint, MI; two grandchildren, Derek Browder and his wife, Rebekah Browder, of Mount Airy and Nadalee Browder of Boonville; five stepgrandchildren, Nathan McCraw, Nicholas McCraw, Kristy Kirk, Kari Kirk, and Heather Kirk; a soon-to-be great-grandchild, Bentley Browder; her mother, Alma Corder Law of Mount Airy; a sister, Jean Cassell Byrd of Dobson; and a brother, Larry Law of Mount Airy. In addition to her father, Mrs. McCraw was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Law Wood; an infant brother, Jessie Law; a sister-in-law, Deborah Diane Law; and a niece, Candy Jean Gunter. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Imogene Baptist Church, with Brother Ken Aman and the Rev. Rawley "Dink" Haynes, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Imogene Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Imogene Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moody Funeral Services, P.O. Box 1288, Mount Airy, NC 27030, to assist the family with the funeral expenses. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
