Richard Ernest Anderson

Mr. Richard Ernest Anderson, age 45 of Dobson, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem.  Mr. Anderson was born on December 22, 1977, in Forsyth County, North Carolina to Linda Dawson Anderson Brinkley and the late Bobby Anderson.  Richard was a loving husband, stepfather, step grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Surviving is his wife, April Irwin Anderson; two stepsons, Michael Chittester, Mark Chittester; four step grandchildren, Michael Knapp, Annabell Chittester, Alannah Knapp, Makayla Chittester; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Anderson and Donna; and his mother, Linda Dawson Anderson Brinkley.  Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his father Bobby Anderson.  A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
