Richard Franklin Roberson

Mr. Richard Franklin “Ricky” Roberson, age 64, of Stuart, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 17, 1960, to the late Franklin Delano “Frankie” Roberson and Jesse Mildred Hall Roberson. Ricky was an avid reader. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. He worked for Pike Electric as a lineman for many years, for Electric Service and Sales in Martinsville, VA as an electric motor mechanic, and later he worked at Vaughn Furniture in Stuart, VA. He will be greatly missed by all those that loved and knew him. 

Mr. Roberson is survived by his wife, Bobbie Roberson; a daughter, Lindsay Roberson (Juan Ramos) of Roanoke, VA; a son, Corey Roberson of Stuart, VA; a stepdaughter, Michelle Nagy (Chris) of Patrick Springs, VA; a grandson, Jacob Ramos; a step-grandson, C.J. Nagy; a sister, Lisa Isaacs (James) of Orlando, FL, and nephews, Bradley Isaacs and Robbie Isaacs (Audrey). 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
