Richard Todd Martin

Mr. Richard Todd Martin, age 58, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at his home. He was born on September 17, 1964 in Surry County to Mary Calloway Martin and the late Augustus Reed Martin.  Mr. Martin was a loving son, brother, and uncle and will surely be missed by all who knew him.  Todd loved to go fishing and play his guitar. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Penny DeBruin ( John); brother, Craig Martin; nephews, Liam DeBruin, Zeb Martin; niece, Madeline DeBruin.  Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his father, Augustus Reed Martin.  There will be no formal services at the funeral home, however, the family will receive friends at anytime on Wednesday, April the 5^th at his mother’s home.  The family would like to say a special thanks to Mountain Valley Hospice for the care and support given to Mr. Marin and the family during this time.
