Ricky Arnold Mooneyhan

Mr. Ricky Arnold Mooneyhan, 69, of Cana, VA, passed away Monday evening, February 2, 2026, at High Point Medical Center in High Point. Mr. Mooneyhan was born March 11, 1956, in Surry County, to Richard Arnold Mooneyhan and the late Cassie Lynn Jones Mooneyhan. Ricky grew up in Carroll County, VA, and was a graduate of Carroll County High School, Class of 1974. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served honorably for 10 years. After his military service, he was self-employed as a fiber optic contractor. He is survived by a daughter, Lauren Mooneyhan; three sons, Sean Graham, Patrick Mooneyhan, and Christopher Mooneyhan; two grandchildren; his father, Richard Arnold Mooneyhan; a sister and brother-in-law, Vicky and Steve King; and a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Debbie Mooneyhan. In keeping with his wishes, no formal visitation or service will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
