Robert Fred Christian

Mr. Robert Fred (Bob) Christian age 78 of Rural Hall, NC passed Saturday July 12, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Mr. Christian was born December 23, 1935 in Stokes County to the late Robert Frank and Gladys Mills Christian Owens, he was retired from R. J. Reynolds and attended First Baptist Church of Rural Hall. Surviving is his wife Betty Smith Christian of the home, one daughter Cynthia Christian-Mabe of Greensboro. Two sons and daughters-in-law Bobby and Kim Christian and Danny and Anne Christian all of Rural Hall, five grandchildren Morgan Christian Johnson and her husband Cody of Midland, NC, Kelsi Christian, Jake Christian and Marissa Christian all of Rural Hall and Dillon Mabe of High Point. A memorial service will be held Monday July 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Will Watson and Rev. Keith McKinney. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC The family would like to give a special thank you to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem and to Bob's first cousin June Tilley for all of her love and support given to the family during this difficult time.
