Robert James Lowe

Mr. Robert James Lowe, 70 of Lowgap, passed away on Tuesday, October 09, 2018 at Twin County Hospital in Galax.  He was born July 18, 1948 to the late Robert Atwood and Fay Katherine Hawks Lowe. Mr. Lowe proudly served our country in the US Army and was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  Left to cherish his memories are his wife Carol Lowe of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Brian Anderson; grandchild Emilee Wilkerson; brother and sister-in-law, Don Bruce and Christine Lowe, nieces, Jennifer and Amanda Lowe as well as a special cousin, Janie Sechrist. In addition to his parents Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Wayne Lowe.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 6pm at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Bill Spurlin.
