Robert Franklin Scales Jr.

Mr. Robert Franklin Scales, age 57, of Cana, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Surry County on November 4, 1962 to Peggy Gray Scales and the late Robert Franklin Sr.  Left to cherish his memories are daughters, Ashley Hawks and Crystal Bowman; four grandchildren as well as a sister and a brother-in-law, Tammy and Jack Inman; mother, Peggy Scales.  In addition to his father Mr. Scales was preceded in death by a son, Tony Hawks.  Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a private graveside service will be held at Gray Family Cemetery.
