Robert Cregger Snodgrass

Mr. Robert Cregger Snodgrass, age 74, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  He was born in Smith County Virginia on October 7, 1949 to the late Sidney and Virginia Adair Snodgrass. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will surely be missed by all who knew him.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Phyllis Rippey Snodgrass; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Gunter (Jason); sons and daughter-in-law, Travis Snodgrass (Alicia), Derek Snodgrass; grandchildren, Layla, Silver, Sidney, Hailey, and  Kinsey Snodgrass, Brady Gunter (affectionately known as Cheeseburger to PawPaw, Meghan Gunter; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Palmer (Mark).  In addition to his parents Mr. Snodgrass was preceded in death by a son, Jody Callaway.  There will be no formal services at the funeral home.  Donations may be made in honor of Mr. Snodgrass to The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd, Dobson, NC 27017.
