Robert L. Webb

Mr. Robert L. Webb, age 84 of Stuart, Virginia, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at his home. He was born in New York, New York on February 25, 1941, to the late Thomas E. Webb and Gertrude Ackerman Webb. In addition to his parents, Mr. Webb was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn McKelson. He had served in the United States Marines and was a member of the American Legion Post 105 and the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. Bob and Dianne have been longtime members of Gideon’s International. He was a probation officer with the VADOC for over 20 years and later a bus driver for the Southern Area on Aging, where he and his wife made many new friends. He served as a Boy Scoutmaster with Troop #273 in Ridgeway and was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church.

Mr. Webb is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dianne J. Webb of the home; two sons, Thomas Webb of Stuart and Donald Webb of Ararat; four grandchildren, Richard D. Webb (Allyssa), Ashley N. Webb, Jessical L. Hardy (Bill) and Nickolas Stoneman; two great-grandchildren, Hayes C. Webb and Emma Hardy; three nieces; and three cousins, William Webb, Linda Daegele (Doug) and Larry Webb, all of Ohio.

Funeral services for Mr. Webb will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. Military rites will be conducted by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.
