Robin Lee Hiatt, 55 of Stuart, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 28, 2025. He was born September 10, 1969 and raised in the heart of Patrick County, VA. Robin was a father, papa, friend and a very successful businessman. He was known and loved by many. Robin was a very respectable, honorable, selfless, and loving man. Robin was the type of man that never met a stranger, he’d give his shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. He had many hobbies including collecting antique toys, signs, riding his Harley motorcycle and attending car shows all over the country. You would likely find Robin hard at work in a garage, building hotrods with his sons and friends, spending time with his kids and grandkids, or on vacation with his family. He loved his family more than anything, they were his entire world. Robin left an impact on this world that will never be forgotten. His graceful presence will forever be missed by many and remembered by all.
Robin Hiatt is preceded in death by his father Freddie Lee Hiatt. He is survived by his wife, Chanda Smith; sons, Triston Underwood, Timothy Underwood, Nick Martin, Ryan Martin; a daughter, Hayley Martin; grandchildren, Tucker Underwood, Wylder Martin, Eleanor Martin, Lucas Spencer “The Man the Myth the Legend”, and Aleigha Rorrer. Robin also had many other children he took under his wing throughout his years of life, including Ryder Cannaday, Emily White, Kevin Spence, and many more. He was a father figure to many. Robin also had many lifelong friends and family members he loved dearly.
Funeral service for Robin will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Moody Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chad Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
