Robin Lyn Simmons

Miss Robin Lyn Simmons, age 66 of Mount Airy, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at her home. Miss Simmons was born August 17, 1957, in Surry County to the late Sandy and Irene Hiatt Simmons. Robin retired from Renfro Corporation after many years of service. She was a faithful member of Grace Moravian Church and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Surviving is an aunt, Susan Hiatt; several cousins, Nicole Bowman, Neina Withers, Gail Cox, Robert Bondurant, Dru Whitley, Theresa Sprague, Jamie Venable, Cindy Vernon, Amy Sawyers, Nancy Broome, and several other cousins. Miss Simmons was preceded in death by her parents, and several aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM Grace Moravian Church in Mount Airy with Reverend Andrew Heil officiating. Interment will follow in God’s Acre. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Grace Moravian Church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Robin’s family would like to express their deepest appreciation to her church family at Grace Moravian and her many friends and neighbors for the unlimited kindness and love shown to Robin during her illness.
