Rodney Wayne Shore

Mr. Rodney Wayne Shore, 36, of Mount Airy, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Shore was born October 18, 1978, in Forsyth County, to Roger and Janet Carpenter Shore. He was employed at Cooke Trucking and was a member of Blues Grove Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Shore is survived by his wife, Christy Lynn Martin Shore of the home; two sons, Salem Shore and Parker Shore, both of the home; a brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Robin Shore of Lowgap; his mother-in-law, Sheila Martin of Mount Airy; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jessica and Bobby Neal of Walnut Cove; several nieces and nephews, Cameron Shore, Scott Shore, Tristen Shore, Gavin Neal, and Bryson Neal; and special friends, Shane Graves and Shane McCraw, both of Mount Airy. The funeral service will be held Friday, November 14, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Blues Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Travis Sechrist and the Rev. Sammy Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
