Roger Dale Danley

Mr. Rodger Dale Danley, age 72 of Mount Airy, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2026, at his home. Mr. Danley was born on November 12, 1953, in Surry County, the late Ellis Elmer Danley, Sr and Gladys Katherine Bowman Danley. Roger will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving is his sisters, Ann Danley Chilton, Bonnie Danley Collins; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Kay and his beloved dog, Sassy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Danley was preceded in death by a brother, Ellis Elmer Danley, Jr. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny Ables officiating. Private interment will take place at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Moody Funeral Home from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is entrusted with the arrangements.
