Roger Eldon Smith

Mr. Roger Eldon Smith, age 70, of Dobson, passed away on November 12, 2021 at his home. He was born in Botetourt Virginia on April 21, 1951, to the late Jessie Monroe and Beulah Frances Merritt Smith. Left to cherish his memories are his step daughter, April Demrest and husband Jamie; step-son, Bo Brown; grandchildren, McKenzie Gillis, Alex Demrest, Nathan Meldick; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Judy Sloan, Linda and Johnny Jarrell, Betty Dudley, Lewis Davis; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Ann Davis Smith.
