Ronald Lee Brady, 80, of Mount Airy, North Carolina passed away January 3, 2026, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. Born March 23, 1945, to the late Rafe and Elva Combs Brady, in Carroll County, Virginia. Ronald was a talented musician, father of 7, and dedicated provider. He was a hardworking daddy and always made sure his children were taken care of. He never met a stranger and loved everybody. A generous man, who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter and son-in-law, Crystal Biggs and Scott; sons and daughters-in-law, Shannon Brady and Amy, Ronald Landon Brady and Kristie, Shane Brady and Lauren, Damon Cheyenne Brady and Sarah, and Shawn Brady; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine Newman and Wallace; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Billy Hawks, and Jimmy and Nelda Johnson; and special babies, Lacey Ann, and Sally Ann. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Hall Brady; daughter, Lawanda Inez Martin; and several brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 10, 2026, from1:00 until 2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Anderson and Rev. Charles Stevens officiating. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dobson Family Medicine, and Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, as well as anybody else who helped with his care along the way.
