Ronald Ray Draughn

Mr. Ronald Ray Draughn, 49 of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday night, April 26, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born in Forsyth County on September 8, 1967 to Catherine Elaine Bowman Draughn and the late Gilbert Otis Draughn. Mr. Draughn is survived by a daughter, Eden Diane Draughn; a son Justin Ray Draughn; his mother, Elaine Draughn; a brother, Roger Draughn; two nieces, Chrystal Reynolds and Faith Draughn; two great nieces, Shai Smith and Kaliyah Reynolds; and two great nephews, Kenyon Smith and Keylon Smith. In addition to his father, Mr. Draughn was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Michael Draughn. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Brother Tim Gammons and Mr. Dale Pack officiating with burial to follow in the Peoples Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday night April 29, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
