Ronald Dean House

Mr. Ronald Dean House, age 94, of Winston-Salem, passed away early Thursday morning, March 14, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born in Waterloo Iowa, April 3, 1929, to the late Russell and Genevive House.  Mr. House earned his highest ranking of Master Sergeant in Untied States Airforce after bravely serving for 26 years and 8 days.  He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Richard (Ricky) House and Bobbie, Charles House and Jan; his adored grandchildren, Amber and Ben Johnson, Ginny Leblanc, Charlie House, Victor House, Nicky House, Dean House, Jesse House; 9 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, Mr. House was preceded in death by his faithful and loving wife of 43 years, Joan Juanita House; his stepfather, Bernell Hagen; one sister, Lola Haynes; brother, Russell House Jr.  A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 1 PM at the Salisbury National Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the US Air Force Honor Guard  Per the wishes of Mr. House, no formal services will be held at this time.  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to a charity of the Veterans Affair.  Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the House family.
