Ronald Wayne Puckett Jr.

Mr. Ronald Wayne Puckett Jr, age 45, of Mount Airy, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 22, 2026, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Puckett was born in Forsyth County, on July 28, 1980, to Teresa Vernon Smith and the late Ronald Wayne Puckett Sr. He was a loving son, father and brother who will surely be missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lily Ann Puckett; sisters, Lauren Hester (Devin), Ashley Rierson (Austin), Kelly Puckett; brother, Shane Smith; mother, Teresa Vernon Smith as well as several nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts and uncles. In addition to his father Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his son, Vincent Wayne Puckett; grandparents, Jo Anna Vernon (Lester), Dorothy Mitchell; stepfather, Douglas Anthony Smith. There will be no formal services at the funeral home at this time.
