Roscoe Benjamin Hensley

Mr. Roscoe Benjamin Hensley, 54 of Mount Airy, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was born November 2, 1971 in Surry County to the late Frank and Carol Goins Hensley. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will surely be missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 30 years, Teresa Martin Hensley; sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin Hensley (Raven), John Hensley (Rebekah), Austin Hensley; grandchildren, Carson, Mayre, Timothy, and Alisha Hensley; brother, Kenneth Hensley; niece, Carol Ryneski; great-nephews, Blake and Jacek Ryneski, as well as numerous other friends and family. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Bishop Brian Johnson, Charlie Brown, and Rev Israel Gwyn. Burial will follow in Hensley Family Cemetery in Primland Resort. The family will receive friends on Tuesday starting at 12:30 PM until the time for the service at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
