With heavy hearts, we announce that Rose Marie Bevins, 48, entered into eternal rest on July 2, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, with her daughter, Tessa, and her son, Logan, holding her hands until her very last breath. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she was never alone and was surrounded by the people who loved her most.
Rose was born on February 22, 1978, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to Brenda Carter and James Bevins.
Rose lived a life that was not without challenges, but through it all, she remained full of love, laughter, and a heart that never stopped caring. She had a beautiful smile that could brighten any room, an unforgettable laugh, and a sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around her. She loved deeply and always tried to be the best mother and grandmother she could be. The love she had for her family was genuine and unconditional.
Her proudest and greatest joy came in July 2023, when she became “Grammy” to her precious granddaughter, Celeste Jayde. From the moment Celeste was born, Rose cherished every second she spent with her. She adored being her Grammy, and the bond they shared brought her immeasurable happiness.
Rose also had an incredible love for animals, especially her beloved cat, Layla, who was much more than a pet—she was her baby. Anyone who knew Rose knew the compassion she had for animals and the gentle heart she carried. Although losing her leaves an emptiness that can never be filled, her laughter, kindness, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
