Rose Emma Crouse Lowe

Mrs. Rose Emma Crouse Lowe, 94, of 1250 Bryant Road, Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Village Care of King. Mrs. Lowe was born November 19, 1915, in Surry County, to the late Jim and Mandy Crouse. She was a homemaker and mother. Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Foye Cockerham of King, Ima Lee and Don Johnson and Ida Lee Holt, all of Mount Airy; a son, Foster Lee Lowe of Mount Airy; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and three sisters and a brother-in-law, Ethel Childress of Dobson, Clyde Moxley of Sparta, and Ruth and Paul Southern of Mountain Park. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her husband, Raybon Lowe; a grandson; a great-granddaughter; four sisters; and eight brothers. A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
