Roy Edward "Eddie" Puckett

Mr. Roy Edward “Eddie” Puckett, age 55 of Mount Airy passed away early Thursday morning March 28, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.  He was born April 22, 1968, in Surry County to Sandra Kay Hodge Puckett and the late Roy Holten Puckett.  He was a self-employed painter by trade.  Mr. Puckett is survived by his mother, Sandra Kay Hodge Puckett; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Keith Fowler; two nephews, Jamie Lee Fowler and Kaitlyn and Jason Levi Fowler; a great-nephew, Kamden Lee Fowler; and several other family and friends. Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by the love of his life, Kimberly Stevens. A graveside service will be held at King Family Cemetery off of Homeplace Road in Ararat, VA on Tuesday April 2, 2024, at 1:00pm with Rev. Johnny Easter officiating.   Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
