Ruby Jean Gann

            Mrs. Ruby Jean Gann, age 75 of Martinsville, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Sovah Health in Martinsville.  She was born in Henry County on April 13, 1943 to the late Jim Pete Cruise and Rosie Emma Mize Cruise. 

            Surviving are her husband, Garvin W. Gann; her children, Tammy Rene Agee, Garvin Wes Gann III, Perry Bryan Gann, Sarah Elaine Chavez, John Michael Gann, Joshua David Gann; 12 grandchildren, Gabriel Gann, Tabitha Gann, Jeremiah Gann, Jesse Martinez, Adrian Chavez, and seven other grandchildren; and a half- brother, Sterling Newman.

            Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastors William Preskitt and Harold Fitzgerald officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.  The burial will be held Monday, March 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Henry Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
