Ruby Mozelle DeHart Wagoner

Ms. Ruby Mozelle DeHart Wagoner, 83, of Mount Airy, passed Sunday, May 17, 2015, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born March 24, 1932, in Surry County, to the late Samuel and Lydia Frances Eaton DeHart. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Gayle Frye; a son, Chris Wagoner; her grandchildren, Tim Lakey and his wife, Kim, Heather Salley and her husband, Thomas, and Christy Wagoner; her great-grandchildren, Anna, Ben, Jax, and Onna; a brother, Wayne DeHart; a sister-in-law, Ruth DeHart; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Wagoner was preceded in death by two infant sisters; and two brothers, Joel and Bryan DeHart. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Brother Ralph Sproles officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, May 19, 2015, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the wonderful care Ms. Wagoner was given by the staff of Northern Hospital of Surry County, Golden Living Center, and the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home.
