Samuel Franklin Miller, 2, of Greensboro, NC, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2025. Samuel was a fighter from the moment he was born, facing the challenges of life with courage that inspired all who knew him.
Diagnosed with Trisomy 18 before birth, Samuel’s body may have been fragile, but his spirit was nothing short of remarkable. For 901 days, Samuel defied the odds with a resilience and joy that touched every heart in his path. His smile, often a radiant burst of light, would fill a room with warmth, and his laughter – pure and infectious – could brighten even the darkest days. Samuel’s courage taught us that joy is not found in the absence of difficulty, but in the unwavering faith with which we face life’s challenges.
Though Samuel’s time with us was far too brief, the love and light he shared will never be forgotten. He leaves behind his proud parents, Cameron and Mary Margaret Miller, who feel both blessed and humbled to have been his parents. Samuel’s memory will live on in their hearts forever.
He also leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his grandparents, William and Michele Miller of Pinehurst, NC, Dale and Patti Fulk of Ararat, NC; his aunts and uncles, Andrew and Jenna Fulk, Brynn and Chase Neely, and Jacob Fulk and Deniese Lara; his cousins Connor and Brett Neely, and Mary Frances, Caroline, Anna Rose, and Catherine Fulk; and numerous family, friends, nurses and therapists.
A celebration of Samuel’s life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at King’s Cross Church, 1411 Benjamin Parkway, Greensboro, NC 27408 with a time for visitation to follow. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love and support during this time and wants to extend a special thanks to Mountain Valley Hospice and AuthoraCare/Kids Path for their care and devotion to Samuel’s medical needs. And thanks to the Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC for serving the Miller Family.
