Sandra Darlene Ashburn

Sandra Darlene Ashburn, a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on July 3, 2023, at The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Surry County, NC, on February 9, 1970.

Sandra will be remembered for her kind and caring nature. She brought joy and happiness to the lives of her family and friends. Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She is survived by her son Ronnie and daughter-in-law Carolee Needham, daughter Bonnie and son-in-law James Hill, and daughter Tiffany Needham. Her grandchildren Skyler Lineberry and Sadie Hill held a special place in her heart.

Sandra will also be dearly missed by her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Johnny Hardy, sister Patricia Ashburn, brother Jimmy and sister-in-law Rhonda Ashburn, as well as nephews, Zachary Ashburn, and Timothy Hardy; and a niece Ashley Collins.

Sandra's father Jimmy Nelson Ashburn Sr. and mother Bonnie Sue Eldridge Ashburn; and her nephews Johnny Hardy Jr. and Justin Duncan preceded her in death.

To honor Sandra's life, visitation services will be held on July 8, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Services (Dobson) located at 215 West Kapp Street in Dobson, NC.

A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Hill Friends Meeting Church in Ararat.
