Saundra Sue Wood

Ms. Saundra Sue Wood, age 73, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was born January 27, 1952, in Surry County, to the late Raymond Wood and the late Donnelda Rose Wood. Left to cherish her memories are her sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Mandy Collins, Sam Collins, and Joe and Christina McMillian; grandchildren, Shane Moxley, Lisa Cruz, Wes Collins, and Britany Thomas; and six great grandchildren; her brother, Raymond Wood; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Hamm; and her brothers, Thomas Stanley and Larry Wood.

A Celebration of her life will be held Sunday 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Fisher River Park (Shelton Shelter). Moody Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Wood family.
