Shane Mayo Nay Jr.

Mr. Shane Mayo Nay Jr., 40, of Mount Airy, North Carolina, passed away January 6, 2025. Born November 21, 1984, to Shane Mayo Sr. and Mary Ann Roberts Nay in Albany County, New York. Shane enjoyed firefighting. He also loved the outdoors where he would spend his time hunting and fishing. Shane had a big heart and a love for all animals. Along with his parents, he is survived by his three daughters, Anelise Mary Nay, Victoria Elizabeth Nay, and Michaela Ann Nay; sister and brother-in-law, Ashley Hatton and Andrew; brother, William “Bill” Nay Sr.; nieces, Ciarra Ann Marie Nay, and Natalie LeeAnn Hatton; nephews, Jerrell Lee Nay, and William Nay Jr.; as well as, special friend, Missy Reed. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM to honor Shane’s life. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Nay family.
