Ms. Shanna Tennille Collins, age 50 of Pilot Mountain, entered into eternal rest unexpectantly on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Ms. Collins was born on July 27, 1976, in Henry County, to Darwin Collins and Mary Collins Hiatt. Shanna was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a special person who was loved by many and left a deep impact on all those who knew her. Surviving is her daughter, Oakley Elizabeth Collins; her son, Draken Allen Cruise and Ella Trakas; sister and brother-in-law, Melinda Collins Burnett and Travis, brother and sister-in-law, Gerald Collins and Jessica; her father, Darwin Collins; mother and stepfather, Mary Collins Hiatt and Ronnie; nieces, Schae Cooke and Chainey, Carleigh Kaye Collins, Camille Elizabeth Collins; nephew, Anderson Parker Collins; long time friend, Pam Leach; and her fur babies, Anchor, Marley, and Oliver. A private funeral service will be held with the interment in Westside Baptist Church Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangement.
