Sharon Lynn Hunt

Ms. Sharon Lynn Hunt, age 57, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 19, 1966, in Surry County, to the late Clinton Lee Hunt and the late Princess Donna Ranson Hunt.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Ali Lynn Daus; her son, Levi Dylan Daus; Richard and Donna’s grandchildren, Summer, William and Anna; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheila and Alvin McIver, Judith and Howard Brim, and Patricia Hunt; her brother and his fiancé, Richard Lee Hunt and Donna; her nephew, Alvin McIver III; and her fur babies, Jaxon and Rebel. Sharon was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend to all, and had worked as a CNA at Northern Hospital and also for over 20 years at Village Care in King. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A celebration of Sharon’s life will begin at 3:00 PM, in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev. Tim Burton officiating.
