Sheila Sizemore Hutcherson

Sheila Sizemore Hutcherson, 78, of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, passed away December 5, 2024. Born September 25, 1946, in Forsyth County, to the late JP and Ruby Sizemore. Sheila received a master’s degree in education from Appalachian State University, and worked as an educator for many years teaching French, German, Italian, etc. She served as a church organist for many years. Sheila also loved travel, and exploring all the world had to offer. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Mike Draughn; daughter, Erica Edmonds; grandchildren, James Moody, Sam Moody, Emily Moody, and Molly Sechriest; great grandchild, Wolf Moody; and sister and brother-in-law, Cindy Littell and Greg. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Moody. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel to honor the life of Mrs. Hutcherson. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Hutcherson family.
