Sheila Ann Leftwich

Miss Sheila Ann Leftwich, 52, of 670 Little Bear Trail, Cana, VA, passed away Tuesday evening, May 19, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Miss Leftwich was born September 3, 1962, in Carroll County, VA, to Shirley Barker Leftwich and the late Berman Malria Leftwich. Sheila was employed at Walmart in Mount Airy and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She is survived by her mother, Shirley Barker Leftwich of Cana, VA; a sister, Tina Leftwich of Cana, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Berman Malria Lefwich, Jr. and Diana Leftwich of Cana, VA; her nieces and nephews, Danielle McMillian, Saige Caroline Leftwich, Michael Portis, Stephen and Lindsey Portis, and Beth and Joseph Williams; her great nieces and nephew, Jazalyn Short, Star Portis, and Kaleb Williams; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 22, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. David Sechrist officiating. Burial will follow in the Leftwich Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home, and other times at the home of her mother, Shirley Barker Leftwich, 654 Little Bear Trail, Cana, VA.
