Shelby Jean Naylor

Mrs. Shelby Jean Kaylor Naylor, 80, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday afternoon, January 17, 2020, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mrs. Naylor was born August 2, 1939, in Washington County, VA, one of ten children born to the late Robert Lee and Gladys Marie Fogarty Kaylor.  Shelby retired from Proctor-Silex Inc. after many years of service.  She is survived by four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Joe and Rachel Kaylor and Robert Kaylor, all of Bristol, VA, Sam and Joyce Kaylor of Bristol, TN, and Bill Kaylor of Hiltons, VA; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Naylor was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Naylor; three sisters, Mildred Theo Welch, Lucille Faidley, and Gertrude Varner; and two brothers, Roy Kaylor and Jimmy Kaylor.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Dwight Sechrist officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
