Sheldon Lee Boyd, 81, of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, passed away on November 25, 2025, in The Villages, Florida.

Sheldon was born in Patrick County, Virginia, to Oscar Lee Boyd and Nannie Hall Boyd on April 16, 1944. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Marie Boyd.

Sheldon is survived by his spouse, Wanda Hartness Boyd; daughters Angel Papa (Tom) and Cori Spain; granddaughter Alexis Spain (Tyler Herdtfelder); grandson Ocean Papa; and sisters Ruby Asbury (Dennis) and Shirlien Belcher.

A graveside memorial service for Mr. Boyd will be held in the George Boyd Family Cemetery on Braswell Road, Meadows of Dan, Virginia, on May 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
