Sheldon Lee Boyd, 81, of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, passed away on November 25, 2025, in The Villages, Florida.

Sheldon was born in Patrick County, Virginia, to Oscar Lee Boyd and Nannie Hall Boyd on April 16, 1944. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Marie Boyd.

Sheldon is survived by his spouse, Wanda Hartness Boyd; daughters Angel Papa (Tom) and Cori Spain; granddaughter Alexis Spain (Tyler Herdtfelder); grandson Ocean Papa; and sisters Ruby Asbury (Dennis) and Shirlien Belcher.

A memorial service for Mr. Boyd will be held at Chateau Morrisette Winery, 291 Winery Road SW, Floyd, VA on May 21, 2026, at 2:30 PM.  Moody Funeral Home in Stuart has been entrusted with the services, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
