Sherri Lisa Hawks Stone

Mrs. Sherri Lisa Hawks Stone age 47 of 195 Cedar Knoll Drive, Mt. Airy, NC passed away at the University Of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill on Thursday, August 21, 2014. She was born August 23, 1966 in Forsyth County, and was the daughter of Donald Ray Hawks and the late Ester Faye Goins Hawks. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was last employed at Medical Associates of Surry. Sherri was also a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Ararat, NC. Surviving are her husband Tracy Stone of the home, one daughter and son-in-law Alisha Nicole and Chris Howard of Mt. Airy, one son Ryan Lee Stone of the home, her father Donald Ray Hawks of Mt. Airy, one sister and brother-in-law Terri and Lynn Weddell of Mt. Airy and a nephew Zack Weddell of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held Sunday August 24, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at Fellowship Church in Ararat, NC. with services conducted by Rev. Robert Pickens. Burial will follow in the Flat Top Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Fellowship Baptist Church Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until time for the service.
