Shirley Marie Moran Agnew

Mrs. Shirley Marie Moran Agnew, age 86 of Bassett, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025 at SOVAH Hospital of Martinsville. She was born in Henry County on June 5, 1939 to the late Eldee Wilbert Moran and Ida Mae Parker Moran. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Agnew was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer Jesse Agnew; one son; a brother, Jack Moran; and a sister, Elva Elgin. Her laughter was contagious, and she shared her joy with all who knew her. She was an inspiration to everyone at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection.

Mrs. Agnew is survived by three children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
