Stacey Eunice Leftwich Mosley

Stacey Leftwich Mosley, 78, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday morning, August 15, 2025, at the SECU Hospice Center in Yadkinville.  She was the devoted wife of Jack Mosley with whom she shared nearly 60 wonderful years of marriage.  Together, they raised three children, Dr. Wayburn Mosley (Rebecca), Tasha Ramey (Brandon), and John Mosley (Melisha), who blessed them with eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.  Her greatest joy was her family!  She loved each of them dearly and always lovingly referred to the grandchildren as her babies.

A faithful servant of the Lord, Stacy dedicated her life to Christ and was a cherished member of Community Baptist Church.  She lived her faith daily showing kindness, humility, and love.  For more than 25 years, she worked as a school bus driver for Surry County Schools, safely carrying countless children to and from school each day.  She took great pride in her work.  She was known for her kindness, patience, and steady care for the students she served.  She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, faith, and unconditional love.  Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints.” Psalm 116:15

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Community Baptist Church, with the Rev. Brad Quesinberry and Dr. Wayburn Mosley officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, P.O. Box 325, Dobson, NC  27017.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the entire hospice staff who took exceptional care of their Mother during this very difficult time.
