Stanley Keith Collins

Mr. Stanley Keith Collins, 45, of Cana, VA, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010, in Carroll County, VA. Mr. Collins was born July 27, 1964, in Surry County, to Stanley Gray and Sylvia Vernon Collins. He was a wonderful son, brother, and uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Surviving are his parents, Stanley Gray and Sylvia Vernon Collins of Cana, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Misty Collins of Cana, VA; nephews, Kevin Payne, Dustin Payne, Michael Collins, Kyle Collins, Samuel Collins, and Judah Collins; great nephews, Alex Payne, Seth Payne, Ethan Payne, and Christopher Collins; and great nieces, Victoria Collins and Emberlyn Payne. Mr. Collins was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Ann Collins. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Ty Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Flower Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
