Stephen Gary Bryant, Sr.

Mr. Stephen Gary Bryant, Sr., 64, of Hillsborough, passed away early Thursday morning, September 21, 2023, at AuthoraCare Collective in Burlington.  Mr. Bryant was born January 9, 1959, in Forsyth County, the youngest of three sons born to Georgie Hawks Bryant and the late Johnny Wesley Bryant.  Stephen was formerly employed at Jacob Glass Company in Durham.  He is survived by two sons, Stephen Gary Bryant, Jr. and Terry Wayne Bryant; three grandchildren, Sabrina Bryant, Kenya Bryant, and Damien Bryant; his mother, Georgie Hawks Bryant; and two sisters-in-law, Sharyn Bryant and JoAnne Bryant.  In addition to his father, Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by two brothers, David Wesley Bryant and Randall Wayne Bryant.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Hawks Family Cemetery in Lambsburg, VA.  No formal visitation will be held.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
