Stephen Sherman Grubbs

Mr. Stephen Sherman Grubbs, 69, Cana, VA, passed away at Northern Regional Hospital on September 6th, 2021. He was born in Forsyth County on February 24th, 1952. He enjoyed Nasscar racing and Wrestling. He was preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Anna Lee Marsh Grubbs of Cana, Virginia, as well as his second wife Betty Jane Grubbs. Left to cherish his memories are a daughter, Christie and Shane Watson of Mt. Airy, Son Jason Grubbs of Winston-Salem, daughter Melissa and Byron Batteiger of Newburgh Indiana, daughter Lucretia Montgomery of Henderson Kentucky, Grandchildren Brooke, Paige, Austin, Harleigh, Savanna, Chelse, Alyssa, Ola, and Wyatt. Wife Shirely Grubbs and grandchildren. A Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
