Mr. Steven Ross Davis, age 67 of Stuart, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born on November 22, 1958 in Polk County, IA to Kermit Ross Davis and Bonnie Lou Overton Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Phillips.
He faithfully served 22 years in the United States Air Force. He was also a gearhead who loved working on his cars, going on rides, and he truly loved living in Virginia. He will be deeply missed by everyone.

Steve is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Theresa Orosco Davis, one son Jonathan Davis of Florida; two grandchildren; one sister, Pam Grote of Arizona; one niece, Amy Grote, Theresa’s sons and their families, Destry Henson and Bowdie Young; Aunt Evie and her family; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
