Steven Charles Marsh

Steven "Steve" Charles Marsh, 36, passed away on June 3rd, 2023. He was born in Surry County on August 4th, 1986. Steven was kind-hearted, full of life, and never met a stranger. He had a bold personality and an incredible sense of humor. He was known for his wild stories, always followed with a signature Steven smirk. Steven is survived by his son Riley Marsh; Parents Susan Atkinson and Steve Marsh; his siblings Amber Atkinson and fiancé Brandon Taylor, Sam Marsh and wife Becca Marsh,  Daniel Marsh and wife Ashely Marsh, stepbrother David Caudle and wife Abby Caudle; grandmother Alma Moser; niece and nephews Vivian Marsh, Vera Caudle, and Isaac Caulde; special cousins Audrey Simpson, Alison McMillian and Marisa Tomasic. He is also survived by his "second mama, " Melissa Mundy, many other wonderful relatives, and several great friends. Steven was preceded in death by grandparents Mary Ellen, Grady Tolbert, and JC Marsh; aunt Diane Hiatt. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather and best friend, Ricky Atkinson.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 13^th, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:30 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.
