Steven Gray “Banger” Terry, age 48 of Stuart, VA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 17, 2026. He was born on October 21, 1977 in Pemberton N.J. to Harvey Gray Terry and Eleanor Evans Terry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece Pam Terry and a brother-in-law Robert Turner.

He is survived by his wife Heidi Johnson Terry; daughter Bella Terry both of Stuart. Two sisters, Yvonne Turner of Galax and Tammie Black (Herman) of Roseboro, NC. Nephews, Bryan Black, Kenny Black (Kayla), and Brandon Black (Candace). Nieces, Virginia Lockwood (Kevin) and Theresa Phillips (Christian); Great-Nieces and Nephews, Caleb Black, Jacob Black, Riley Black, Braxton Black, Isaiah Black, Ella Black, Cody Strickland, Emma Lockwood, Eddie Clark, Alliegh Mae Cooper, Kayleigh Smith, Colton Smith, Raydan Reed, Blaise Phillips, and Oakley Phillips; God children, Serenity, Scarlet, and Raylan Reynolds; In-laws, Keith, Marci, Ashley, and Josh Johnson; and a beloved dog, Darby.
