Sybil Ann Inman

Mrs. Sybil Ann George Inman, age 81, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at her residence. Mrs. Inman was born on November 18, 1944, in Stokes County, to the late Harold Claude George, Sr. and Maxie Lee Gates George. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Inman worked for many years as a manager of temporary services. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Daymor Reid Inman; son and daughter-in-law, Justin Shelton and Hannah; grandchild Tatum Shelton; niece, Della Wyler; nephews, Dylan George, Adrian George. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Inman was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Claude George, Jr. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Albion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Easter officiating. There will not be any formal visitation held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Albion Missionary Baptist Church 131 Big Sky Trail, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
