Tammie Lee (Jones) Turney

Mrs. Tammie Lee Jones Turney, age 64 of Mount Airy, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy.   Mrs. Turney was born September 22, 1959, in Surry County to the late Hassel Jones  and Gaynelle Jefferson Hawks.  Tammie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.   She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Surviving are her sons, Justin Sechrist, David Shane Wolfe; grandchildren, Brantley Sechrist, Isaac Wolfe, and Harley Wolfe.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turney was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Gail Jones.  A celebration will be held at a later date.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
