Tammy Faye Perkins Sneed

Mrs. Tammy Faye Perkins Sneed, 49, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Surry County on May 6, 1964 to Kenneth Perkins and the late Betty Spencer Perkins. Mrs. Sneed was a member of Fancy Gap Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband William "Willie" Sneed of the home; a son and daughter-in-law Chris and Ruth Sneed of Mt. Airy; a granddaughter, Isabel Sneed of Mt. Airy; her father, Kenneth Perkins of Mt. Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Sherrie and Steve Newman of Mt. Airy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenny and Rhonda Perkins of Mt. Airy, Mark and Carol Perkins of Kingsport, TN. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Fancy Gap Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwight Sechrist officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Fancy Gap Baptist Church.
