Tammy (Foltz) Weagraff, 60, of Mount Airy, North Carolina went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning May 19, 2019. She was born on February 10, 1959, in Titusville, PA to Warren and Doris (Slagle) Foltz. She was married on September 17, 1977, to Richard Weagraff. Alongside her husband, she served the Lord in ministry as a preschool teacher, worship pastor, and missionary. She has spent the last nine years helping establish the Tammy Weagraff Orphanage and Academy in Kisii, Kenya. Tammy dedicated her life to loving others in her role as a friend and mentor. She has left a deep impact that has touched many lives. Her most cherished role was that of a wife, mother, and grandmother. She truly lived for her family, She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Weagraff; her children, Beth (Cory) Craig, Danielle (Shaun) Lamb, Jamin (Soojin) Weagraff; grandchildren, Ian, Lauryn, Nicholas, Alexander, Emilynn, and Riley; mother Doris Foltz; mother-in-law Viola Weagraff; and siblings, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Warren Foltz and father-in-law Fredrick Weagraff.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 24, 2019, in the chapel of Moody- Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Rev. Allen Young and Pastor James Church will officiate the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home, in Dobson on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of her service at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, her family is requesting that contributions be made to P.U.M.P. Ministries Inc., to continue Tammy’s dream of helping others, 195 October Lane, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
